Hej. I’m Herman.
I’m Herman Wigge, an Information and Communication Engineering student at Lund University. I tend to like projects where software has to meet something concrete: a drone in a room, a train puzzle in VR, a graph you can hear, or telemetry arriving over OTLP.
Recently I have been going deeper on observability. OTLP Tap is a Go project for following OpenTelemetry data from the wire format, through storage, and back out through a query API. Accessible Observability takes a different angle on the same area: what if a trace viewer could be navigated by ear as well as by sight?
The older projects here still say a lot about what I enjoy building: mixed-reality prototypes, real-time audio, constrained hardware, and systems where the first version fails for specific technical reasons. The site includes browser demos where that makes sense, and labels them clearly when the demo is a smaller port rather than the original project.
